How to Watch the Great American Eclipse in Alaska and Hawaii

On August 21st, the Moon will pass in front of the sun, casting its shadow over the people of Earth. They’re calling it “The Great American Eclipse”, and luckily when they say “American” it isn’t followed by an asterisk excluding Alaska and Hawaii. While the eclipse’s “totality” will only occur in a handful of the contiguous states, the entire U.S. (and most of North America) will be able to see at least part of the solaar phenomenon.
